NLMHA believes that involving residents and tenants in how their homes and estates are managed and maintained is vital to delivering a better housing service and improving the quality of life for local communities.
Local involvement can take the form of informal consultation meetings, at the frequency residents require, just to hear what the issues are for your neighbourhood. Practical action can be agreed and taken to improve things, and to build a stronger sense of community.
If the residents wish, the group can become a formally constituted Residents’ Association with a committee.
Our Resident involvement team will work closely with these tenant groups.
